i'd forgotten about the dog: trying to make sure he lived long enough 
to become more giant-bloodthirsty-wolf than dog, and not abandoning 
him only to have to fight him later on. then there was the genocide 
potion. heh!

oh, and entering the game as the photographer -- blinding the 
monsters with your flash camera! excellent.
