Classic Games (was: RE: [thechat] Error 404 : Zork!)

I had about every game that was available ... (and many of the games
that weren't available! [Eeek!]) for the Atari 800. [Heck - I even had
office telephone numbers for some of the developers at Atari - used to
call and bs about the games.]

It was a sad time in my life ... escaping a bad marriage through game
addiction.

I'm better now, thanks.

(Who still has a box somewhere with a bunch of the arm patches from
Activision! [For those who don't remember -- If you mailed in a
Polaroid of the screen showing a higher score than their benchmark for
one of their Atari 2600 games - they sent you an arm patch.])

You reckon? I loved Frontier on the Amiga. It was the music that did it
for
me. Its a pity it was as buggy as an ants nest really.
