Hugh,

Thanks for the info. The domain is registered by Network Solutions 
(Verisign), and a call to them informed me that if it's not paid 
within 45 days I should be able to snap it up (and to check back 
sooner, just in case). But perhaps I'll email the owner. I mean, if I 
don't get it, it's really not a big deal. If he decides to keep it 
with the idea of making money off me, that's his problem.
