i remember hearing about the day when my previous employer bought a cd
burner for AU$20 000. they're now sold everywhere for AU$200-400.

remember prices of DVD players? home DVD recorders are apparently now
sitting at a couple of grand. the vcrs which were AU$700 are now AU$250.

the price will drop.


i'm fairly underwhelmed by Segway. i was expecting something revolutionary
in the powering of the thing, but if they can increase battery capacity, and
speed somewhat, these things will be cool.

it's unfortunate that they do nothing for exercise...


i
