Have you played version 2 and 3? Two came out in 96, I think, and I was
still playing it a few days ago. You know a game is good when it never gets
old...

When I first got a computer capable of playing the first version of
Civilization, I used to stay up WAY past bedtime in the icy cold garage
(office) playing 'til I fell asleep. Major time-thief if you're not careful.
But I still enjoy it.
