Why don't you throw out some stats then and stop blowing smoke??? You've
been asked by two different people to show where you're data is coming from.
What states pay around $35K to start? That would be 50% higher than the
staring salaries I know about...

If states that pay 50% more for teachers have *poorer* performance than
the the states that pay less, why do you assume that paying teachers
*more* is going to accomplish anything?
