Subject: [thechat] dosh?

A few years ago, I met a girl from New Zealand who said something to
the effect of, "I've been traveling for 6 months, and picked up a job
here to earn more dosh for traveling".

Of course, dosh = money.

I had never heard the word before, and haven't heard it since.

Is this a NZ thing, or is it used in other places? We met in
Zimbabwe, so I suppose it could be a Zim/Rhodesian thing.

Where else is this term in common usage?

I'd be chuffed to find out!
