I'm really noticing that with my 2 new-to-me win2k computers (one's a Dell
laptop, one's a Dell workstation). So yes, I have no problem upgrading for
better stability and tossing in the dial-up sharing feature is fine, too.

Well, and this is why I wrote my comment in the way that I did. I had a
feeling that perhaps the hardware firewall might have better protection.
And especially now that I'm networking my computers I want to be that much
more careful, too.

So going with what you suggest sounds like a great way to go for some very
important reasons. Thanks for your thoughts on all this, Jeff!
