you know, when the whole point of a web page is a game, one might argue that
flash is a really good technology

for instance, consider security -- i just can't picture myself feeling
comfortable about launching an executable like activex or java on my
machine, but i don't mind going to a flash site (knowing it's a flash site)

is that just better marketing, though? is flash really safe enough? i don't
recall hearing about any flash security problems (other than one, and it was
some weird assortment of conditions, like you had to install the file on
your harddrive and turn off security, or something... )

some of the criticisms against the use of flash are warranted, but i found
the orisinal site to be gorgeous, and fun...  i just can't see dhtml
competing with flash at that sort of interactive level...

those games are fabulous
