people interact with hardware, but strips reach the web site 2 weeks
after they run in paper, so you may have to touch some dead tree flesh
if you can't wait.

Plants are nice to have around--they munch carbon dioxide, give off
oxygen, don't bitch when you forget their birthday, etc.  But the
upkeep.  Oy!

Get yourself a Spath.  They don't require any direct sunlight (they
actually prefer the warm glow of your monitor) and don't get pissy about
the whole watering-thing.  Every couple of weeks you'll notice it's
leaves hanging straight down.  Give a little drink, and they bounce
right back.  The perfect passive-aggressive pal!
