just saw a neat tv commercial -- big biker guy and little kid comparing
tattoos -- great commercial, made me laugh

apparently these things have been out for a few years, but i never heard of
them -- and i have kids, and they like temporary tattoos, too
those 3m folks really are innovative
speaking of tape, there's construction on the bloor viaduct (a largish
bridge in toronto --

so they shut down one lane, and had to shift the remaining lanes over one,
which meant the solid line dividing the two directions of traffic had to
move over
no problem -- they used tape
dunno if it was 3m or not, but it was solid, reflective white tape, maybe
five inches wide (however wide lane markings are) and it was interrupted
every fifty yards or so, because they did not tape over the gaps
(the bridge has gaps to allow it to expand/contract with temperature)
by the way, the bloor viaduct was built in 1919, long before they built the
subway line that goes under the street on a second bridge level --
they anticipated it!!
