Once in college as field trip in a class, we
toured the Memphis, TN morgue.

Of course, at the end of the tour there was a
most delightful slide show with stories to go
along with it.

The quote that has remained indelible in my mind,
lo these many years:

"After three or four days Fifi or Fido will EAT you."

went with a picture of a pair of cowboy boots
with well-gnawed leg bones sticking out of them.
