Memo from Martin P Burns of PricewaterhouseCoopers

According to a University of Ulster model, Brazil will beat Italy in the
final. Argentina will pip Spain to the third place spot and England will
get through the group stages but then lose to France in the second round.

I know, it's a bit early, and my name's not Nostradamus.

However, UU researchers have analysed every upcoming match in the
tournament, taking into account all manner of factors such as the Fifa
world rankings, the distance the teams have had to travel to compete, and
the rest period between matches.

The simulation was run 2,000 times and predicted that the Green and Yellow
Cowdenbeath will win, instead of Sven's lads. Ireland are out in the second
round too, to Spain.

Cheers
Martin
(leaving for the hol weekend in about 5 mins)
