i'm not hugh (obviously), but from the things you chose, oregon would be a
fantastic choice.  don't let anybody tell you it rains all the time here.
we don't get nearly as much total rainfall as alot of other cities that
people don't normally associate with rain like atlanta, georgia, for
example.  one nice thing you get with the rain is lots of lush beautiful
green scenery.
