[thechat] reading FIFA's official score

The official final score for hte Korea-Italy game looked like:
2:1 a.e.t. (1:1 0:1)
I eventually figured out what the a.e.t. meant (for after extra time), but what's
the bit in the parens about?  I cant find anything in the score sheet that would
seem to correspond to that series of numbers. . .
