Memo from Martin P Burns of PricewaterhouseCoopers

-------------------- Start of message text --------------------

Marvellous - Perugia have sacked Ahn Jung-hwan who scored the golden goal,
Perugia owner Luciano Gaucci saying "I am not going to pay the salary of a
guy who has been the ruin of Italian soccer"

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport3/worldcup2002/hi/team_pages/south_korea/newsid_2054000/2054072.stm

BBC is now reporting (as is Gazzetta dello Sport where the 1st quote came
from) that Gaucci has since changed his story and is sacking Ahn because of
the comments he made after the game along the lines of "Korean football is
the best!" (kind of understandable when you've just won against Italy and
got through to the 1/4 finals)

Cheers
Martin
