[thechat] where's metafilter on my Mac?

This is odd: Metafilter.com says "server not found" on my Mac. I
can't ping it from my Mac. I can't load it from it's IP on my Mac.

There is nothing unusual happening with it on my Windows box. I'm
using the same connection ... DSL split with a router/firewall
dohiggy.

Come to think of it, I believe it stopped showing up approximately
the same time I ran Apple Networking Update 1.0
(http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=15258&db=mac).

I wanna read MeFi on my Mac.

Any body have any earthly idea what might be going on?
