Unless there is more noir than film. ;) Thanks for pointing out correct
grammar when referring to more than one film that may be rife with
melancholy, alienation, bleakness, disillusionment, disenchantment,
pessimism, ambiguity, moral corruption, evil, guilt and/or paranoia.

Or, I could just say, films noir.
