I'm fortunate to be pretty fast food free at this point in my life. I
had my last fast food burger probably about 6 years ago. I also gave up
Taco Bell type things and Arby's about 5 years ago. I will still
occasionally get a sandwich at Subway every few months but that is it.
I found that fast food made me feel like crap. And while I liked the
taste of Burger King more than other fast food burgers, my good they
gave me nasty gas. Its just not worth it.

We've got a food chain headquartered here in Eugene called Taco Time.
They actually have half-way decent ingredients (like rice, sunflower
seeds, real tomato's, etc) but I just can't bring myself to eat at fast
food places anymore. There are enough decent pubs everywhere that I can
get a good burger most anywhere I go with a little looking. Yes it
takes longer and is more expensive, but it makes my body feel better in
the long run (and short run for that matter).

Take part in the Slow Food movement (http://www.slowfood.com/). Eating
is for enjoyment as much as nutrition!

Judah (who had a salsa, guacamole, bacon burger with 2 pints of cask
conditioned IPA for lunch today)
