I doubt you're going to find anything approaching "audiophile"
quality from computer equipment ... the computer is always going to
be the weak link as the circuitry inside is low-end audio stuff - the
way it's going to sound best is to run some decent interconnects into
a stereo system. I have my audio out going into a lower mid range
stereo system  (Kimber Cable -> Arcam Alphha 6 -> Kimber Cable ->
Fried) ... if your stereo is already in the same room as your
computer, I'd suggest spending $100 on interconnects and rearranging
the room.
