cool!  HSU ultimate frisbee women call themselves the "Humboldt
Hags."  They like the old definition of hag which started out being
an "untamed hawk" and then went on to mean "wild/untamed woman of the
woods" which pretty much suits most Humboldt women...

Words like "hag" and "crone" did not always have the degree of
negativity they do today.

It is good to know the orginal meaning of "slut."  Do you think that
if a person were to start a girl rock band called "the sluts" it
would give people the wrong idea?
