here's how:

they have two neat software products - LP recorder (ver 2.2 was free
with FEB2002 PCPlus Mag) and LP ripper.

LP recorder automatically creates a wav file from one side of vinyl and
LP ripper which reads the wav file, looking for track gaps and then
creates a seperate WAV file (or MP3 if you have a command line encoder)
