Would love to recommend some links re. quantum physics, but the problem
is as soon as I observe them they disappear...

As a serious aside, there *was* something interesting about Gravity and
string theory in this week's New Scientist (which is actually an update
on an older item.)

Basically, the scientists involved propose that the G constant isn't a
constant, and that gravity varies where you are, depending on magnetic
fields. The varying values might be the first proof of the hidden
dimensions proposed by string theory.
