Heh, I know a Pole, a Lithuanian, a Mexican, and a
Japanese who are extreme fans. Not immigrants from
those countries, they live there right now. No anglo
heritage necessary. Oh, and a guy in the next cubicle
over is from Hong Kong and loved the books and the
movies.

Yes, I think this is more relevant than anything
about an anglo heritage. My best friend, works at
Alcatel in Plano, TX, was an English major and
absolutely HATES Tolkien. He doesn't find it boring,
he finds it appalling. Go figure.
