I've found it in grocery stores in both Minnesota & Vermont. You can also

(I think I use their Hickory flavor. $2 for a 4-oz bottle. It lasts forever,
as I just use a few drops at a time.

I just looked at their vegetarian recipes page & I must say I'm quite
amused. The recipe for baked beans includes bacon, ham, & beef salami.
Funny, I never realized those weren't meat. :)
