Ish.

It'll be difficult to compare generally, as
1) The Mac system wasn't running Panther, so the 64-bitness wasn't 
happening (at least as significant as hyperthreading imo - it's a 
crippled Mac system)
2)The Dell systems weren't running WinXP (let alone Longhorn), but 
RedHat9
3) Neither are running any kind of window manager, so they're not 
exactly real world tests. The efficiency of the visual layer is 
significant
4) The Dells are running with an extra half gig of RAM
