Yeah it's pretty much USA only. Title of the text book
is "America's Musical Landscape." Again, I don't have
a problem with such a class in general; there's been
some interesting music here. But there should be a
general overview-of-music type course as a
prerequisite.

Good list. Haven't heard of Natalie or Alison or 
Gillian. Hmm, the Byrds. Hadn't thought of that. 
The book won't arrive for a while so if there's any
