Your situation sure is dreary.

Here in France people all pay for the National Health Plan, but most poor people get full help when they need it, without being forced to pay for a private complement.

In your situation, if it's really bad, it would be possible for you to go to the state for help. I'm afraid the US of A don't want to afford the "luxury" of public service anyway.

And people here still complain. Sheesh.
