Traffic circles in New Jersey are becoming an endangered species. Many
have been replaced and others probably will be soon. Funny thing is that
the intersections are still know as the fill-in-the-blank circle. The one
where I live is still know as the "Little Ferry Circle" even though the
circle has been gone for about 10 years.

Matt is right about North Jersey - traffic in the circle has the right of
way. I can't speak for South Jersey.

There is a traffic circle in the heart of Gettysburg, PA, but they call it,
"The Square." There was also one in Indianapolis, IN when I was there
about 10 years ago.
