Look at the plug on the lights. Does it have a "sliding door"? You're
looking for two little tiny fuses - there are usually replacements with
the light set. I put up  my tree this past weekend, and AFTER I got
every last light, ornament, bow, ribbon, streamer on there,
three-quarters of the 750 lights stopped working. Replaced two fuses in
a plug, and we're back to brilliance.  Whew... I did NOT want to take
all that apart!
