be sure to get a cheat book, not an 'authentic' book. the anal retentive
types who transcribe the 'authentic' books put in every single passing
note and chord, when all you really care about is the three or
four-chord pattern. Painful to learn from the 'genuine' stuff, but a
good fake book seems to strip out the fancy schmancy and just leave the
core, which is what the Beatles were all about, right?

which ax do you play Beatles stuff on? kin you play Beatles on a Strat?
Shouldn't you go buy a Guild or get a Gretsch or something weird for
that?
