Well, it would certainly be fun to try, (I think I would enjoy it!), 
but I really doubt I could come up with a good enough case to make 
it fly here:

(a) I do a fair amount of development work with a report writer 
packaged called 'Brio'. I have a tough enough time getting IT support 
on Windows ...

(b) That 'NIH' attitude.  We're not real good about letting anybody, (employees/contractors/consultants coming in from out of town for a 
one-day meeting), ... about letting *anybody* come in the door carrying 
anything we don't make. [Yes, we actually have made consultants buy 
new laptops in order to do business with us ... we're like that.]
