Hi all,

Speed limit in nearly everywhere in Australia tops out at 110km/h (about 
68mph). Got a car that goes faster, and you're dying to try it out? Tough 
titties.

The one exception (as far as I'm aware) is the Northern Territory, which 
has certain roads with no fixed speed limit. I can assure you that everyone 
takes advantage of this, having been overtaken whilst doing 140km/h by an 
18-wheeler truck, as if we were standing still.
