I used to run "B2" in my old evolt 'sandbox' space and that was more

enough for what I wanted to do.  The article store and most recent date 
are pretty simple pieces of functionality ... I just didn't want to
think 
too much about how to allow comments (or bother working out the plumbing
on 
storing those and linking them to the appropriate rant) or 'past
article' 
or 'archived articles' links ... I'm sure dozens of folks have already 
worked all that out and I don't mind using their work.

It will be a personal blog on a non-comm site. I don't need multiple
blogs. 
I'm not 'hosting' or running an ISP allowing this as a service. I don't
need 
multiple authors. No need for workflow, or multiple stages to publish
... 
No 'high powered' CMS features at all, really.

I just want to add an irregularly timed diatribe to the top of my
personal 
site. That's it. Very simple stuff, indeed.

At this point my idea of an 'advanced' feature would be 'timed release'
... 
it might be kinda cool to write an April fool or Groundhog Day piece a
week 
ahead of time but not have it release to the site until the proper date.

Again. Simple 'baby steps' kind of stuff.
