[thechat] Laptop Woes

My G4 died a week ago and I discovered the existence of internal hard drive
adaptors when shopping for a replacement. Will save me a lot of time fussing
with ribbons. Heck, I could have used one before ... as there was no space
for a third hard drive and I needed one, the side of my Mac has been open
for the last year.
Ended up getting a refurbished Acer Aspire 5130 laptop to hold me over until
I have enough for the new Mac I want. In the mean time, I'm finally able to
play Civ 4. Yum. Like the gameplay, but the graphics seem too busy and the
music is not that interesting.
