Consider it an investment. I needed a new laptop because of all the
travel I've been doing since November and decided a MacBook Pro and
VMWare (running XP and Ubuntu ATM) was the best choice. Yes, pricey
for the full-tilt model -- cost more than most of the cars I've ever
owned, including the current one :-) -- but I'm *very* happy with it.

For more reasons that I originally expected.
