I'm using Google Chrome as my default web browser now. (Don't worry,
I'll keep this as off topic as possible.) Just followed a broken link,
and up popped a custom error page I created years ago while I was
researching this article:

    http://evolt.org/node/60224 <http://evolt.org/node/60224> Why
Verisign's Wildcard DNS is a Bad Idea

and here's the error page, in all its glory:

Once again, you've circumvented one of the most ignorant missteps in web
history.

The Web site you are looking for is unavailable, and due to Verisign's
stupidity, that's all we can tell you.
  _____

Please try the following:

*	Send Verisign an obnoxious e-mail (oh, you've already done that?
OK.)

HTTP 404.1 - Web site not found
	Internet Information Services

  _____

	Technical Information (for support personnel)

	*	Background:
This error indicates that the Web site you are trying to
access has been whacked into unconciousness by Verisign. Yeah; they were
Network Solutions, those monopolizing jerks who help ensure that you
didn't get joel.com <http://www.joel.com/> .

	*	More information, don't click this link. It won't do any
good; I've tried.
