Oh and in the Central/NorCal vein, you should definitely check out
Anderson Valley Brewing, makers of my favorite bottled IPA (Hop
Ottin') and North Coast Brewing out of Fort Bragg, makers of a fine
belgian ale (Pranqster) and a truly wicked Russian Imperial Stout, Old
Rasputin which tastes as old and wicked as the man it was named for.
Ringing in at about 10% alcohol, it will give you a old world
smackdown.
