from a technical standpoint it's probably *not* teeming with death, but
I'd toss it. just doing a cost/benefit analysis, you're risking some
fairly astonishing food poisoning vs. the cost of half a chicken.

I'm fairly fussy; also I remember my brother putting himself and his
three kids in the hospital with food poisoning twice while he was
between wives two and three (he's still married to three after 10 years,
so maybe this is a factor) I'm even more overly-cautious about food than
I used to be.
