yeah, it is.

Twitter is a cocktail party. sometimes it's a party you wanna be at, with
folks mostly saying stuff you'd like to eavesdrop on and maybe respond to.

other times, it's a raging drunkfest of nonsense and you just wanna get out
alive. fortunately, you can just click the little X to do so.

took me a long time to get used to the whackitude that is Twitter. it's not
my primary anything, but used judiciously for business it has some value.
for my personal life, I don't give a tinker's cuss if someone else is eating
salad at Chez Poobah, nor do I expect them to care that I clipped my
toenails and can only find 9 of the clippings on the bathroom floor.
