We use Verizon FIOS - if fiber is available in your area, and Verizon can
provide, look into it. We upgraded to a wicked fast upload/download speed.
You can bundle TV and phone and even wireless if you want. Our bundle
reduced our old DSL + separate phone bill enough that we now get TV included
for the same price. 

My son had UVerse and nothing but problems. We have not had major issues
with Fios.
