[thechat] Linux Newbie - Lightscribe Disk Labeling Q

Hi Gang,

I've managed to get "LightScribe (Simple)" working and created some very rudimentary disk labels.

But I'm having no love with the Lacie 4L-gui or 4L-cli programs.  They import pretty labels that I can mock up in gimp ... but I get the "printing requires root privileges" message and can't burn them into the disk.  The 'sudo 4L-gui' or 'gksudo 4L-cli' commands from terminal don't seem to do anything as far as I can tell.

Is there an easy way to get Lacie working?  Or is there a better/easier program to let me cut pretty labels on LightScribe disks?
