Megan Heald, 30, based in London. Geologist at heart.

Daytime I work for a Canadian software company that has been around 25 years. I'm the sole UK techie now which means that I have to have fingers in a lot of pies - systems, networks, security, database, application design, solution implementation .........
I've been developing web sites / applications since 1996, my first task was - "surf the web see what's out there and recreate it". I'm not great as a designer, more interested in getting things to work then it's up to someone else to do the pretty.

Rest of the time, play silly games with my 18 month old daughter, we specialise in games with teddy bears.

Get out and about as much as possible, I love being outdoors, dream job would be as a field geologist somewhere beautiful.

Positive, I was a monkeyjunky and joined soon after evolt was founded. 
I've been a long time lurker on the list under a variety of email addresses, for several reasons I mainly reply offlist.

Depends if its verbal I can shout pretty loud, otherwise I'll hide, or use nappies (diapers) as ammunition.
