errr, sorry, it's mostly correct.  the image path in the <img> tag should be
"images/#user id of author#/".  notice there's no leading slash.

yes, they should.

i have an addendum to your final tip.  you can also include the following
<base> tag in the html surrounding your body copy which will make sure that
any images you're referencing are pulled off the website.
