I agree that it would be better to have these things in place.
Eventually, someone will ask and it would be good to have answers on
hand. This is one of the things we should consider while we hash out
donation details.

Awhile back, I donated a few bucks to metafilter. I did that knowing
that it would indeed go into the pockets of one person since he was the
only person behind the scenes. With evolt, it's a bit different and we
should have answers at the ready for where the money might go.

True. And maybe the donation thing wouldn't need to be up all the time.
Maybe it's buried pretty deep in the site and only comes up during
certain times when there is a need.
