Yeah, done something like it on the Wiki:

Uses some of my evolt themes, some of Elfur's, some
of Ron's and some of Dave McCreath's.

It doesn't do positioning. But there's no reason why a site
couldn't:

has
1 CSS skin
1 Tables and CSS colours/fonts skin
1 CSS-free skin.

What the IAWiki does is allow you to specify a full URL for
a stylesheet, so you don't have to upload them to their
server or be restricted to their choices.
