signal:noise doesn't make a damned bit of difference if one objectionable
email gets you fired.

evolt.org owes a duty of care to its members - "Well we could have but
didn't" doesn't really fulfil that.

Yup, some people would need to sub more than one address, and
set some or fewer to 'nomail'. Working out how to operate such a
system shouldn't be beyond the ability of *any* evolt member.

In case it's just too much trouble, I'll do it for any previously used
email
address used by any current member of thechat.
