i'm not trying to criticize.  i'm only asking that further changes of any
kind to evolt.org services be brought before the body that's supposed to be
"runnin' shit" and not just done without input.

don't get me wrong.  i *do* appreciate the generosity.  my only request is
that during the "grace period" we've been handed that a bunch of changes
aren't made without the input and grace of theforum.

agreed.  there are certainly bigger fish to fry.  it's not specifically the
ssh access i'm concerned about, though having my own account axed felt kind
of like a personal jab (as have a few other recent, similar access privilege
related incidences).

granted, the hardware does not belong to evolt.org.  however, any and all
services running on that machine do belong to evolt.org (or if they don't,
they need to be listed out and labeled as such).  if changes to those things
that belong to evolt.org are going to take place, the proper thing would be
to get approval of the body that's currently in charge of all things
evolt.org.  that's all i'm asking.

somehow i doubt it'd be as easy as saying "i'll take meo and put it on my
own box".  no worries though.  i'm personally not interested in doing that
myself, but thanks for the offer.
