[Theforum] PC problem update

Ugh! Looks like an IC in the motherboard is fried, which means I still
can't do much except twiddle my thumbs until Tuesday (I hope). Sorry for
the outage everyone. And just after I joined the maccaws.com group too. :(

Sending this from a slow cybercafe, and I know I have to reply to lots of
