No - admins have to manually change the date before launch. Sadly, we
forget far too often, resulting in a post-launch 'damn, forgot the
date' cleanup.

We've wanted this for *years*:

Is the same business requirement

I'm a bit ambivalent about this - I can see we may have problems where
users change their comments and then claim "I didn't say that!" but I
don't *think* we've seen it.

Note that in the current system, this is not an 'all admins' function -
there's a subset role known as godmin.
Also add:
Threaded comments N Y ?

Consider it similar to workflow - for external view, the same as
deletion, but without losing data. Presently, users are deactivated if
they don't log in for ages (can't remember how long) and reactivating
is a godmin task.

Part of version control functionality?

Polls N module? ?
(say for voting in theforum...)
